About This Game Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades is the next installment in this series of realistic real-time strategy games covering various periods in the development of the present day civilization – from the Middle Ages to today. This new title helps players witness the key events in the history of the Teutonic Order in 13th century, namely conquering the pagan Prussia. All battles form a single storyline campaign. The player will act as a Komtur of the Teutonic Order as they relive the battles of the crusaders, regardless of the low manpower of the Order and the strong resistance of the heathens.The project perfectly comprises two types of gameplay and owing to that the objectives of the Komtur are not simply limited to participation in battles. Great game: battles are fluid, and the AI is stunning. The campaign scales very well and is both challenging and enjoyable. If your units don't show initiative, it is not the AI's fault, check you unit stats; also upgrade your commander skill for your lead troops. The HUD is intuitive and easy to follow. I highly recommend this game to any strategy-lovers.. Combines Mount & Blade with Total War; kinda like the Red Orchestra 2 of strategy games.A unique and underrated title from a studio that went under before bugs were fixed.Buy it on sale you won't be dissapointed.. Crashes after a hour. I really like this game it is a good alternative to medieval total war 2. It has good map layout and better battle graphics . The battles are alot of fun espeacially the way the calvary charges and they dont just stop like an moron like in mtw2. The controls are really easy and the open world is a cool addition to the series.
